• Culinary Garden Design
If you have an existing culinary garden space, I will provide suggestions for improving your infrastructure. If you are starting a garden from scratch, we will come up with a basic garden design plan based on my infrastructure recommendations. We will discuss the scope of the installation project and address how to move forward with your new garden build.
• Culinary Garden Crop Planning
and Soil Health
Tell me what you want to grow and I will create a unique crop plan customized to your needs. I specialize in intensive planting and succession plantings to help you get the most out of your available space. Overall garden health is key; we will also put together a plan to ensure optimal soil fertility, proper irrigation, and create a maintenance to-do list.
• Perennial Crops, Berries, and Fruit Trees
Are you interested in incorporating perennial crops, berries, and fruit trees into your garden plan? Let’s figure out how to fit these into your available space and discuss what the maintenance and care these crops entail.
Culinary Garden Maintenance
I offer culinary garden maintenance support as needed.
Prior to my first maintenance site visit, we will meet for a consultation to establish a crop plan and maintenance visit schedule.
Each of my visits include succession planting to ensure ongoing harvest, organic pest and disease control, fertilizing with organic soil amendments and foliar feeds, harvesting, weeding, pruning, removing spent crops, and other ongoing maintenance tasks as needed.
I come equipped to each site visit with everything needed; seeds, transplants, tools, trellises, row covers, fertilizer, and other growing supplies as necessary.
